I never knew Clarence well.  I don't believe we were ever in class, except homeroom.  What I do remember is that he would never pass you in the hall without that big smile and saying hi.  I always appreciated that.  It's funny the things we remember most about a person when they have left this earth.  Thanking you for your service to our country.   My deepest sympathy to his family.
